Neil Diamond and brother Harvey Diamond’s fundraiser.  For the past seven years City Connection Entertainment and Productions has had the great honor in producing the Jennifer Diamond Cancer Foundation’s annual fundraising GALAs. Through the years, this Gala has taken on many different themes, from a “Sixties Rock n Roll Show”, “A Night in Havana” to the latest, “Come to the Cabaret” featuring the captivating Lainie Kazan.   While working with a public charity, although very satisfying to the soul, does not come with a large budget.   Each year CCE manage to exceed the expectations of Harvey, Alice and Neil Diamond while honoring a restricted budget yet creating a night fit for the Stars.  From lighting, décor, stage design, to exceptional entertainment, CCE brings to life a night to remember; benefiting those whose lives have been touched by cancer. Recently released on National TV was the performance CCE’s group, “Sharky & The Babes”.  The wedding was a Motown themed event held at the world renowned Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. 

Congratulations to the son and daughter in-law of Randy Newman.  CCE helped create a memorable evening for this celebrities’ son, friends and family at the unique setting of the Ahmanson Ranch House in Calabasas, CA.  The evening was filled with exciting music and lots of humor which one would expect from satirist Randy Newman.  More

What does Sidney Poiter, David Crosby, Dr. Gary Gitnik and City Connection have in common.  City Connection had the honor to provide entertainment and lighting production for Dr. Gitnik’s wife’s birthday celebration.  Among the star studded attendees were Sidney Poitier & David Crosby.  Our lead vocalist, Valerie Davis dedicated and performed close to these mega stars the Etta James song “At Last”.  Mr. Crosby’s comment to her and lead vocalist, Sharky was, “You sang your a… off”.  Everyone danced the night way.  More

One of Google's Regional Holiday parties held at the Ortolan Restaurant.  CCE knew that nothing less than creative ideas would be needed to impress this group.  A unique Lounge group performing classic rock in the form of Acid Jazz along with various types of strolling entertainment filled the bill.  The night started late and rocked into the early morning hours. More
