Flamenco music includes the ever popular Spanish music (not to be confused with Classical Guitar).  The primary instruments are guitar and percussion.  Other genres include Nuevo Flamenco & Rumba Flamenco.  This style of music became re-introduced by The Gypsy Kings, which is better known as Nuevo Flamenco.

Camino Rio, the name conjures up mysterious nights of romantic feelings. Their sound envelopes you from the first notes and stays vivid until the very last. The group's flare for an authentic Spanish experience is not only found in their music but their entire look and soul. This exciting trio consist of two guitars and percussion along with their vocals. The group is lead by the accomplished guitarist/songwriter Carl G.

Carl has been performing for many years, becoming one of the top solo artists in the Los Angeles area. He performs a variety of Puro Flamenco, Nuevo Flamenco, Classical, Brazilian, Jazz and pop all on Nylon string guitar using only his fingers, no picks. He uses puro-flamenco technique in all these styles of solo and ensemble performance.   Carl also performs in the ensemble, Camino Rio , which can be heard on this website as well.
